It's been awhile - almost 5 months to be exact. A lot of life has happened in those 5 months, including work in the PhD world but also a lot not attached to that at all. I had doctoral week in May - which, in hindsight, is a little crazy that I haven't blogged about that. It's been a minute - over a month - since I've posted. Not because things have stalled... in fact, quite the opposite. The PhD is coming at me fast, in a good way (I think) and I'm still working to balance the priorities of raising two, not shit-head kids (at least to the best of my ability), run a successful curriculum, research, continuing education, and a PhD program that has a lot of exciting opportunities. Additionally, I found out that I get to go to AMEE this year, which is in Vienna....

I should probably figure out a better cadence for posting but here we are. I met with my sponsor this past week a couple of times in an attempt to start to really refine what my research will entail. Per usual, my brain moves in a million differet directions and the challenge for me is finding the things that will hang together in a dissertation well.
